This program is in response to the Joint Commission letter regarding the inspection process specific for turnover of instrumentation by OR staff member ( put connection )

Advantage Support Services will train all Operating Room staff to properly reprocess surgical instruments intended for “turn over” and immediate use.

This “flash” training program will provide staff with the initial base knowledge of “the how” and “the why” for re-processing instruments.

It will create a uniformed standard of care for all Operating Room staff for each specific part of the sterilization process.

All information given is according to AAMI, AORN, CDC, Joint Commission current standards and recommendations
