    I,am looking for an hospital which has a correspondence course that is designed to give the 400 hrs. hands on training
    after I take the paper. Do you know of anyone that give these courses in CRCST. Thank you Jane Cheesman

    I have not been certified for 4 years. Is there a program that would allow me to be re-certified, or would I need to go through the whole process again ?

    We have an online class to help you become successful in recertifying as a CRCST with IAHCSMM. You can register for the exam without the class, but you must show 400 hours of experience at your current facility.

    Yes, we can help you at your facility as well as send a proposal to your facility director to help all of your department become certified as a CRCST with IAHCSMM. Our online class really helps to break down the sciences of sterilization and processes to help you become successful at certification. You can go to our http://www.yourtrainingsite.com and contact us through the “contact us” tab on the left of the screen. Our program is on-line and you will have access to a lecture for each chapter, a study card that you will be able to print, the exam for each chapter is online and I will invite you each week for a “live” online study session. You will be able to meet with an approved IAHCSMM instructor and several other students learning and studying together. I am intersted in helping you achieve certification. Contact us as soon as possible and we can answer your questions and help you get started.

    This course is not accredited, as in a college credit. But, I am an approved IAHCSMM instructor and would be willing to help you achieve a CRCST certification sucessfully at your pace.

    Yes, our course is available on – line, so you can take this approved course for Central Sterile processing anywhere you have computer and internet access.
    The entire class in online and we meet each week “live” for a study session with an approved IAHCSMM instructor. Let me know what other questions you may have and see if we can get you started

    There are two different certifications; CBSPD and IAHCSMM Below is additional information about the programs.

    We must first determine which certifiation you will qualify for,. There are two choices for certificaiton, IAHCSMM or CBSPD.

    IAHCSMM requires that you currently have experience or are able to obtain 400 hours of experience in processing instrumentation and sterilization practices. The other does not require experience to get certified.

    If you qualify for IAHCSMM, we are currently holding classes for IAHCSMM certification for Central Sterile Processing professionals on – line. If you are currently employed with a CS department, contact us and we can take you through the steps of getting started or you can follow the direction below.

    Below are the directions to sign up for the class. You can begin anytime. You can go to our website at http://www.yourtrainingsite.com and
    click on the “sign up” at the top of the page.
    Click on CRCST: IAHCSMM Certification Program – Sign Up
    Click on “create a new account”
    Follow directions from there to start your training program, which is putting is all your infomation, creating your own username and password and entering your credit card information to start the program

    The on-line classes for certification program will provide you with:

    A lecture of each chapter
    A study session to preview for each chapter
    Study cards you can print out
    Online exam
    Meet, live, every Saturday with an instructor and other students for a study session
    A competency / education file to track your progress, class disipline and grade
    A Certificate of Completion
